Welcome to NAVIRA

Greek merchant shipping is indispensable to the global economy. Although people have been traveling for thousands of years, shipping was only systematically organized after the transition from sail to steam in the mid-19th century. Despite its importance, Greek shipping remains relatively unknown, and its contribution to modern history has not been adequately recorded. NAVIRA's mission is to showcase the true image of Greek shipping.
